#Stardew valley save editor add a coop update#
This new update with multiplayer and single player content will be released in 2018 on PCs first, then consoles. It will come to the PlayStation Vita in 2018. Stardew Valley is available for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. More outdoor decorations, including ones that change depending on the season, and the ability to make signs that can display items on them are coming too. A new collection will be available and can be started on folks’ very first winter. There will be new NPC events and a winter town event added to the game. The Stardew Valley update has a number of other bonuses coming. With the update, they will have the ability to switch Professions. If someone picks Rancher, then Shepherd now, they are permanently locked into it in that save file. Then at level 10 farming, Ranchers could choose Coopmaster to befriend coop animals and reduce incubation or Shepherd to befriend barn animals and reduce wool growing time. When farming hits level five, you can choose between Rancher, which increases the value of animal products by 20%, or Tiller, which makes crops worth 10% more. As you perform certain actions in Stardew Valley, you will get the ability to choose certain perks for different categories at levels five and ten. One of the major additions is the ability to re-spec your profession. While we originally only had new screenshots suggesting the ability to go inside a boat and do some fishing through a hole inside of it while out on the sea, Eric “Concerned Ape” Barone has posted a general list of things to expect on Twitter. Same issue. It has already been established that the upcoming Stardew Valley multiplayer update arriving in 2018 will not just add cooperative multiplayer to the game, but will also include new single player content. You get my issue?Įdit: just tried doing the same but going through the coop menu at the start.

There are two primary types of mods in Stardew Valley: mods that replace existing. And again, when I begin coop, the only option I get is to load that damn Robert. Adding mods to Stardew Valley isn’t too taxing even without Steam Workshop.

What I want to do is play with Luis, because Robert understandably sucks ass since he has like fourty minutes of existance. Robert doesnt exist outside of the Em file, as in, I can't load a file of his as I can Luis and/or Em. But when I go to options and begin the coop, the only chance I have is to load the new character I created for the coop, let's call him Robert, like a sort of sub-character from the main Em file. I can play coop, I've tried and played a few minutes, all works fine. I load the save which aready has a cabin.

My only option for now is split screen coop, don't have the second PC right now. Em alredy has a cabin so we'll use her save file. Luis is very advanced, Em too, slightly less. Didn't took that long but it would be great to just import your character with their inventory. Used a save editor (the only one that allowed me to edit the "tenant" too, and not only the original character of the farm) to give the new one the level, recipies, etc that I had already achieved, and some high end items I had already obtained too.

If I have no choice but to start a new character from scratch, is there any way to make the characters have the same abilities with a save editor? I'm pretty proficient at modding and save editing and very willing to do so, just want to know if it's even possible before I try.Įdit: I found no way to import the character from my previous save. Can I load an advanced character into another save when playing local coop split screen? Or is the only option start with a fresh new character with no abilities? If it's the former, what about in non-split screen multiplayer, with two PCs? Hey there, currently looking for the best way to play multiplayer.
